Your Home Away From Home
Located in rural Copiah County, Mississippi, we offer adaptable facilities for a wide range of activities and events. Our guests immediately become a part of the 6 MILE family, and feel right at home.
We host kids' camps and retreats and lease to organizations who need a place to host their own. While we desire to provide the setting for your event, and that you feel at home, we most desire that individuals who come here would encounter the Creator of the Universe. Whether you come to camp, retreat, or spend your special day at one of our venue areas, it is our hope that you encounter Jesus.

We compiled a sampling of some of our projects over the last few years. In it you'll see clean-ups, constructions, and some of the amazing people who have joined us in all these efforts to take steps of faith toward God's vision for this place. We would not be where we are without our prayer partners near and far, laborers who helped, and financial and material contributors.

Our Vision
Our vision is that all people who we have the privilege of ministering to would grasp the importance of walking in faith, and be convinced that in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and encouraged by fellow followers of Christ it is possible to live a life counter-culture and faithful to God.
Our Mission
Our mission is to welcome people to the saving, refreshing, hope-filled message of the Gospel and encourage all followers of Christ to persevere in faith. We do this by hosting camps and retreats for people of all ages; offering respite to Christian pastor and missionary families; making ourselves available to people who need prayer, encouragement and exhortation; and leasing our facilities to like-minded Christian groups.

"We believe that God’s design for his creation and his way of salvation serve to bring him the greatest glory and bring us the greatest good. God’s good plan provides us with the greatest freedom. Jesus said he came that we might have life and have it in overflowing measure. He is for us and not against us. Therefore, in the hope of serving Christ’s church and witnessing publicly to the good purposes of God for human sexuality revealed in Christian Scripture, we offer the following affirmations and denials."
